Rest in peace my sweet Storm

My Storm, my beautiful companion, best friend, bodyguard, son and adorable sweetheart passed away yesterday morning. He fought cancer and the anemia bravely till the last breath and went to heaven from home.

  1. I’m sorry for your loss, I dread the day my Airabella leaves me.

  2. Narcissus, thank you for your kind words.

Please just take care of your pup, show her how much she’s loved, make sure she goes for her regular checkups, don’t take things lightly and just take lots of photos and videos with her whenever possible.

Life is just too fragile and when it hits, it hits hard.

  3. I am so sorry for your loss. We just received the awful news of hemangiosarcoma for our 12 yr old dog. You are in my thoughts! heather

  4. I was researching some info on hemangiosarcoma and found your blog. I’m so sorry to hear that you lost your precious Storm to cancer. It is a terrible disease that I know very well. Thank you for sharing Storm’s story with others. I know he’ll be very missed.

  5. I am so sorry for your loss. It is like loosing apart of your sole. Your website has been very helpful to me and thank you for taking the time to write about your pups struggles. Our 12 year old cairn terrier Digger was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma of the right atrium just a week ago, naturally our hearts are broken and our heads are spinning with what to do or not to do next. People like you and loveable dogs like Storm are making our journey a little easier to bear and understand. Deepest sympathy on your loss and may your pup live on in your memory for ever.

  6. Losing a dog is more traumatic than many people realize. I sorrow for your loss. I found your blog when trying to find more information on kidney failure in dogs. My Taffy was diagnosed with kidney failure September 2. She is only 6 and a half years old. In retrospect I see the signs of her kidney infection and the thought that I could have prevented her pain and probable death is tormenting me. So far the iv fluids have kept her going, but she will not eat. I have been feeding her the kidney dog food, pureed and pudding. How do you make a dog eat enough to stay alive?
